Istanbul Offshore Club

The İstanbul Offshore Club has been organizing the Turkish Offshore Championship since 2003. The races became International in 2006 and starting from 2008 the Turkish Offshore 225 Championship kicked off as the "World Offshore 225 Championship". Offshore racing is among the most exciting motor sports in the world. Bringing the same excitement to Turkey, the İstanbul Offshore Club is greatly proud and pleased to be organizing the World Offshore 225 Championship. Offshore races are among the most elite sports that attract a significant number of sponsors and viewers alike. As one of the extreme sports, true sports lovers and the media in Turkey have great interest to the Offshore Races. The race boats are equipped with state-of-the-art safety devices and environmental-friendly engines. IOC is the first organization to enforce a Pit Stop in the races and has been successfully using pit stops in the World Offshore 225 Championship.
