Users can send direct distress calls to emergency providers, including Ambulatory, Road-side Assistance, Security, Police and Fire. They can also send emergency messages to three predefined contacts of close family and friends. They can also The application utilizes GPS to capture your exact geographical location and relays real-time data to both your preselected contacts and emergency providers. The providers are linked to the users via web back end and android agent app. This web platform is accessible at the control center and when the person in charge accepts the distress the platform will forward the details to the nearest agent on the ground. The private for profit firms will be charged on a monthly basis based on their numbers of user using Usalama. Usalama has multiple features: 1.
