جامعه صرع (میرگی) افغانستان، یک نهاد غیر انتفاعی بوده که هدف آن افزایش آگاهی و معلومات در باره بیماری صرع و یا میرگی است. و نیز هدف بلند مدت آن در طی پنج سال آینده: وارد نمودن ادویجات با کیفیت برای این بیماری، ‎با همکاری سازمان بین المللی صحت و وزارت صحت عامه جمهوری اسلامی افغانستان خواهد بود.‎ این نهاد پلان دارد برای جلوگیری و کاهش بیماری صرع در دو برنامه جداگانه خدمات انجام دهد:‎ کوتاه مدت: آگاهی و آموزش فامیل ها توسط کارمندان این نهاد، برای کمک های اولیه ‎و دراز مدت: کوشش برای معالجه و یا کاهش تشنجات این بیماری صورت خواهد گرفت. The Afghanistan Epilepsy Society (AES) is a nonprofit organization aimed at raising awareness of epilepsy disease. As well as its long-term goal over the next five years is to introduce quality drugs for the disease, in cooperation with the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. To prevent and mitigate epilepsy, this institution has plans in two separate programs: Short-term: Educating the families by the staff of this institution for first aid training And long-term: An attempt will be made to treat or reduce the seizures of the patients suffering from this disease.
