Deviprasad Goenka Management College of Media Studies (DGMCMS) is a state of the art learning and working environment where students, researchers & media professional, national and international, work in close association to facilitate the generation of value in the media spectrum. DGMCMS is supported by its parent body Rajasthani Sammelan which has been in the field of education for the past 65 years. The educational body supports and facilitates learning activity for approximately 14000 students from primary to post-graduation. Media amateurs as young as 15 or 16, have produced incredible digital content with inexpensive handy cams, PC based sound laced with ingenious homemade VFX and have even successfully distributed the content on the web, to generate huge revenues and are being chased by big time Hollywood studios. The proliferation of user friendly media gadgets enables one to become a creative film maker, a media business professional and a web advertiser in real time. Obviously the very hierarchy in media is rapidly shifting in favour of young, impatient and creative mind sets-Thanks to ‘Hyper Media'…a melting pot where number of media get integrated and create an altogether a new medium. At DGMCMS, we thus, strive to leverage all the resources that can contribute in developing the eco-system of the media & entertainment space.
