Making Impossible Dreams Happen DreamMakers began as a dream between Jessica Rodriguez Hernandez and Carla Taylor. Inspired by Barbara Sher's TEDx Talk, "Isolation is the dreamkiller, not attitude", Jess asked Carla "Can we please do this??" Carla said "YES!" And 4 weeks later, the first DreamMakers event was launched. In two weeks after posting it, on December 27, 2022, the first live in-person event was held on Wednesday, 1-11-23, at The Box Media Space in Indianapolis, Indiana, with 78 people registering and 4 sponsors, with just under $1,000 raised. The community response was enormous, and Jess and Carla quickly realized this needed to become it's own entity. Within 3 days, they were getting request for merchandise, retreats, and franchises. Impossible dreams were shared and connections were made, and the momentum took off like a wildfire.
