Elgabaly Architects was founded in 1994 in Cairo – Egypt, by Dr. Tamer A. Elgabaly. The firm is specialized in the fields of Architecture, Urbanism, Interior and Landscape Design. The projects of Elgabaly Architects span over several regions of Egypt and the Middle East, encompassing both new buildings and renovation works. Elgabaly Architects have designed several malls, hotels, resorts, office buildings and housing developments. In the early 2000s, Elgabaly Architects was best known in Cairo for their innovative residential schemes in Heliopolis and Nasr City, creating iconic buildings that would later become urban landmarks in the city such as the renowned landmark of Heliopolis ‘Tivoli Dome' that would later achieve a Guinness World Record title for the ‘Largest food court in the world'. In addition to ‘Tivoli Dome', Elgabaly Architects have carried out the design of iconic megaprojects, establishing a distinctive architectural language with an eye for detail, utilizing contextual forces and achieving commercial success. Regarding previous works, the firm has honorably carried out the architectural design of The Future University in Egypt (FUE), Porto Dead Sea in Jordan, Porto Cairo Mall, Porto Sharm El-Sheikh, Golf City Mall in Obour, Serenity Resort in Sahl Hashish, Porto Aghadir in Morocco and other unique projects in Egypt and the Middle East.
