简介 | The Plasma Physics laboratory of Institute of Applied Physics of National Academy of Science of Republic of Armenia, was created in 1986. This laboratory was organized for the investigations of acoustic wave influence on the plasma. In the result of investigations lasted years, have been received data proving that practically it is possible to control by acoustic waves all parameters of gas-discharge plasma. It has been figured out that in case of intensity growth of acoustic waves, directed along the high pressure gas discharge, the gas temperature and electrical current value are decreasing, but the longitudinal electrical field is increasing. Intensity growth of acoustic waves, directed along the high pressure pinched discharge, is leading to unlace of gas discharge and creation of homogeneous positive column, due to vortical motion, arisen in plasma. In the result of investigations of plasma physics laboratory workers, working on problems of acoustic wave influence on plasma, have been published more then 100 scientific articles, which were summarized in two review articles at journal of "Physics – Uspekhi" in 1995 and 2007 years. |
