简介	MACRO is a pioneer of HIV testing services in Malawi and It championed the use of rapid testing technology in collaboration with the Ministry of Health with support from United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which was later adopted, standardized and scaled up by the Ministry of health which made rapid diagnostics available and readily accessible in Malawi. MACRO has has been implementing HTS and HIV related activities in Malawi since 1992 reaching 1,519,548 people with HTS by end of 2014. MACRO has a proven track record in implementation of HIV testing services projects in Malawi and is registered with the council for non-government organizations (CONGOMA) and NGO board as a local NGO. Vision is: "A healthy nation, free of HIV by being a leader in providing quality HTS and other HIV related services." Mission is: "to provide quality HIV testing and Counseling and other HIV related prevention and treatment services to individuals, families and communities in order to reduce HIV transmission and impact of HIV/AIDS in Malawi". Focus Areas -Provision of quality HIV testing and other related HIV services such as Anti Retro Viral Therapy -Syndromic Management of Sexually Transmitted Infections -Family Planning, Behavioral Change Communication for prevention of HIV and sexually transmitted infections -Condom education and distribution, training of HIV testing services providers and supply chain management of HIV test kits and supplies. Other Services -Consultancy in research for HIV testing and HIV and AIDS related programmes -Training facilitation in HIV testing and HIV and AIDS -Consultancy in HIV and AIDS workplace programmes -Technical support in HIV testing
