PROFILE Nuclear and Radiation Safety Center (NRSC) is a technical and scientific research company which provides expertise in the field of nuclear and radiation safety, and security of nuclear facilities. Shareholders and Administrative Bodies NRSC stocks are owned by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Specialization NRSC is constantly increasing its expertise level and expanding its activity scope. NRSC uses the most up-to-date methods and approaches, the best available tools and verified techniques in its activities, hence increasing the quality of the work performed and the service provided. This makes NRSC the leader in the local market and the most reliable partner for the international organizations in Armenia in the field of nuclear and radiation safety. The areas of NRSC specialization include: • Safety analyses and assessment of nuclear installations • Risk assessment of nuclear installations • Drafting regulations and guides on different aspects of nuclear and radiation safety • Development of emergency response procedures and scenarios for emergency exercises • Radiation safety and protection assessment • Radiometric and dosimetric measurements • IT support, development of tools and databases • Training of newcomers. NRSC employs around 35 people, including physicists and engineers specialized in the field of nuclear and radiation safety, IT personnel, as well as administrative and managerial staff.
