SIFE Maastricht is the Maastricht University chapter of SIFE. **UPDATE: Board recruitment! SIFE's mission is to mobilize university students to create economic opportunities for others. Through community-based projects, SIFE students assist people with lesser chances to improve future perspectives. SIFE provides university students the best opportunity to make a difference and to develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills. SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) is a global non-profit organization active in over 40 countries worldwide that mobilizes university students to create economic opportunity for others while discovering their own potential. Working in partnership with business and higher education, SIFE mobilizes students around the world to use knowledge learned in the classroom to address real world issues in their communities. SIFE students form teams at their university and develop outreach projects that teach market economics, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, personal success skills and business ethics. These students make a difference and create a better world while realizing the full potential they have as the entrepreneurs and business leaders of tomorrow. Each year, students present their projects at competitions which are held in every SIFE country; the winners go on to a global competition: the SIFE World Cup. **UPDATE MAY 2010: SIFE Maastricht is recruiting new board members for the period August 2010- June 2011!
