Tonga Film Commission

The Tonga Film Commission is the Kingdom's official Film Office with a focus on building, facilitating and serving the Film Industry in Tonga. Our goal is to build the Tonga Film Commission into a world class facilitator and producer of original content creation and development, film financing, distribution and production. Our mission is to conceptualize, create and produce one of a kind universal contents with an emphasis on critical issues that have true impact and relevance in the region socially, economically and politically. We're looking forward to reaching out and establishing partnerships with private, public and municipal entities throughout the world to further the Commission's growth. We're also looking to build educational facilities in the very near future to train those who aspire to be in the film industry and promote film culture throughout Tonga and the region, thus contributing to educating and fostering a critical mind and creative atmosphere. We will market Tonga as a viable and feasible location and destination for international film productions, offering great locations, creative resources, as well as technical assistance. Lastly, we will tailor-made all management and support services to fit each producers' need to ensure their project goals are completed on time and on budget.
