Write for you, PNG is a communications and public relations consultancy company. We are a small business that consists of people who love to write and share stories through the writing. We believe that literacy changes lives, enriches the way we live and enables people to connect with one another. The art of communicating is beautiful, it is a skill that human beings have developed over time and continues to be the tool that shapes our existence on this earth. Our ancestors in Papua New Guinea were a people who loved communicating. It was a necessity and a luxury at the same time. Through oral history, our people were able to teach their young of the basic skills for survival on the land and water. Lineage could be traced back and land boundaries could be marked out all because of the precious time spent around a fireplace listening to the elders. After a good hunt and a good meal, men would huddle around the fireplace and tell stories. The orator had a strong voice, he told legends of victory and loss, of trophies gained and trophies forfeited. Women and children would gather around the old village croon. Stories she told through her songs were beautiful, stories of adventure, of how she shaped the clay with her hands and created the earthenware pot that now held the remaining soup on the fire. Communication is a vital tool, whether you are a business owner marketing your product, or a job seeker searching for a job, a company looking for the appropriate media strategy, or an organization trying to disseminate information.
