HOMERECORDS.BE Founded in 1998, homerecords.be is a record label that aims to publish and diffuse singular music. Since its beginnings, the label has produced, published and recorded more than 200 albums. Owing to its status, the label diversifies its activities by producing and diffusing live music, which led to the creation of the annual Homerecords Festival. BREAKING MUSICAL BARRIERS The albums of homerecords.be are unclassifiable and can be found at the crossroads of "jazz, classical, contemporary or world music". Product of non-formatted facets of their authors, these compositions reveal their identity and singularities which in turn bring the listener closer to his humanity and the universality of cultures through musical practices. THE ARTISTS AT THE HEART OF THE PROCESS In homerecords.be, the goal of the production revolves around an ethical choice which consists in putting the artists at the heart of the decision-making process of their work and allowing them, as much as possible, to own a major part of rights in terms of copyright, production and publication. CULTURAL DIVERSITY Since breaking barriers is one of its goals, homerecords.be is also a place where artists from all walks of life and from the four corners of the world meet. Its practice contributes in encouraging cultural diversity both at the local and the international level, such as collaborations of musicians from different communities, promotion of artists abroad, introduction of artists with different ethnic origins, musical exchanges between artists, …
