The ability to detect others with similar intent within you localized proximity with high fidelity has not existed previously. The wide physical range of the connection (+100m) and the sensitivity with that range allow for the application of complex algorithms to determine intent, proximity, and dwell time as well as exchange data while requiring no manual input or actions by the user. This allows for the exchange of electronic business cards with potential clients and advertisements that target the actual wants of the consumer. In a hospital environment it could provide patient identification, tracking and records handling functions while in a military application it could provide squad leaders with tactical information and health status of the team members. The system does not rely on internet connection or GPS to function yet can utilize both.
