Community Health Solutions (CHS) was incorporated in 2013, and in a short period of time has set a new standard of care for health services in Pakistan. CHS has a unique social business model which has identified niche opportunities, mobilizing resources in the private sector to achieve public health objectives. Our innovative approach maximizes impact to save lives by empowering communities for sustainable healthcare delivery. To ensure strong governance and transparency, Community Health Solutions, is registered as a private limited company, with the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan under the Companies Ordnance. CHS is governed through a Board of Directors. The board members consist of clinical and public health experts, with strong non-profit program management and private sector expertise. While CHS is an independent organization it is part of the IRD Group, which provides the board members that govern the organization. It gives us immense pride to launch the Sehatmand Zindagi website. This follows the recent opening of 58 healthcare centres in 33 districts in Pakistan. The opening of centres is backed up by a massive media campaign to raise awareness of the "Zero TB program" in Pakistan. CHS is developing into a fast, vibrant, dynamic organization with particular emphasis on patient healthcare. We hope that these are small steps in a long, successful journey.
