Located at 3100 Superior Ave., Sheboygan, HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital is a 185-bed nonprofit community hospital sponsored by the Hospital Sisters of St. Francis (HSHS). Since treating its first patient in 1890, the mission and vision of HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital has been to provide family entered, compassionate care without regard for race, creed or ability to pay. This is achieved through the core values of respect, care, competence and joy. HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital strives for a continuous review and improvement in all of its activities in all areas. In its concern to integrate services with the total health care of the community, HSHS St. Nicholas recognizes its responsibility to participate in community-wide planning, to be responsive to the health needs of the community, to cooperate with others working to alleviate pain and suffering, and to assist in the education of all persons concerning basic health needs.
