Seeds for the Future is Huawei's global CSR flagship program as well as the longest-lasting CSR initiative than any of our other CSR initiatives around the world. Launched by Huawei in 2008, the program seeks to develop local talent, enhance knowledge transfer, promote a greater understanding of and interest in the ICT industry, and also encourage participation in the construction of digital communities. Through the Seeds for the Future program, Huawei seeks to: - Work with local governments and higher education institutions to give top students valuable opportunities to receive technology and cultural training, gain experience in digital life, study cutting-edge ICT such as 5G, Cloud Computing and AI, and gather experience through hands-on practice. - Foster their leadership skills in a cross-cultural environment, deepen their personal mission and sense of social responsibility, motivate them to build problem-solving skills through teamwork, and eventually spark innovation and creativity among brilliant minds. - Create a community for the bright talents who show great interest in technologies, regardless of their countries or cultures.
