IBL Bank was incorporated in 1961 as a Joint Stock Company under the name of "Development Bank SAL" with a capital of LBP 8 million for a period of 99 years. The name IBL Bank sal was attained in 2008 based on a vision adapted by the Board of Directors in order to boost the Bank's positioning and Brand awareness.
