LOOK is an architectural design studio founded in 2015 by Christopher Mitchell AIA, LEED AP. Christopher Mitchell is a registered architect in Missouri & Kansas as well as a LEED Accredited Professional. He has 25+ years of diverse project experience spanning residential, commercial, industrial, sports facilities, museum, civic, and theatrical design. LOOK is a design studio that provides effective design responses for residential, commercial, and civic clients. We insist every project will be successful with an appropriate design approach, regardless of scope or budget. Philosophy / Process: LOOK is a DESIGN STUDIO to SEE. to EXPLORE. to DISCOVER. The name LOOK abstractly represents our design process. We begin each project with the simple act of looking...then we begin to see through exploring...and thus we discover. This is an abstract way of saying we DISCOVER our design solutions by means of exploring concepts and ideas. We are process driven and do not treat design as a commodity. Thus, each project should be unique and an invention of sorts, defined by the qualities of the client, the talents of the team, and finally the rigor of the design process or approach. We encourage you to come along with us into our unique architectural process. Do not stand on the sidelines and merely LOOK in, so to speak.
