KEVIN MERCER creates vibrant conceptual illustrations that envision the invisible, tell personal stories, and reveal intricate connections between people and ideas. His process balances subtle detail and graphic punch, using a blend of analog and digital drawing, painting and collage. Kevin's ongoing editorial work covers subjects including science, technology, social innovation, travel, and personal narratives. In between assignments, he keeps a sketchbook practice that continually yields new directions and inspiration. In addition to his studio practice, Kevin is an Associate Professor in Illustration at University of the Arts, in Philadelphia.
