NEIRBO Hydrogeology

NEIRBO Hydrogeology (pronounced near-bo), is a consulting firm led by founder and principal Hydrologist Grady O'Brien. We define and quantify hydrologic systems by focusing on the interactions between surface water, groundwater and the physical, biological, and engineered environments. Technical analyses and models show past, present, and future conditions by providing the timing, magnitude, and location of water flow and water quality. NEIRBO applies scientific and engineering principles to the agricultural, mining, engineering, construction, water resource, and environmental fields. NEIRBO works to protect the quality and quantity of our water resources to promote sustainable irrigated agriculture; municipal, industrial, and domestic water supplies; and healthy ecosystems. Identifying the root cause of hydrologic impacts allows us to support science-based water-management decisions and the design of engineered mitigation measures.
