简介	75% of Australians are exposed to at least one traumatic event in their lifetime. Phoenix Australia promotes recovery for the 15 million Australians affected by trauma. A leader in posttraumatic mental health for over 20 years, Phoenix Australia partners with and guides organisations, communities and individuals to reduce the effects of trauma. Our journey began working with the defence forces, developing treatment and recovery programs for soldiers returning from conflict. Today our work has a much broader focus, as we seek to improve the outcomes for all Australians affected by trauma. Our acclaimed research and international networks are the foundation of our work, which encompasses Research and Evaluation, Policy and Service Development, and Education and Training. It is our unique ability to integrate knowledge and skills from all of these activities to develop best practice, tailored implementation. Phoenix Australia is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with an affiliation with the University of Melbourne.
