Pratiksha School of Nursing

It has been a dream of Dr Pramod Kr Sharma, CMD Pratiksha Hospitals Pvt Ltd to establish a college of Nursing which will help in reducing the scarcity of professional nurses in the health care industry as well as to promote women empowerment with higher education and Pratiksha School of Nursing is the first step to achieve that. The school is providing diploma course in nursing education for preparing of specialist in nursing care. The curriculum is designed to allow students the opportunity to become self-directed generalist who will be able to function in a variety of settings. The school seeks to enrol students who represent racial, cultural and geographic diversity and to prepare students for employment in multicultural society. Nursing is a noble profession which utilizes in its practice a well-defined and well-organized body of specialized knowledge, which is on the intellectual level of the higher learning. It attracts individuals of intellectual and personal qualities who exalt service above personal gain and who recognize their chosen occupation as a life work. The faculty of Pratiksha school of Nursing recognizes that, the basic nursing education is a formally recognized programme of study providing a broad and sound foundation in the behavioural and nursing sciences for the general practice of nursing, for a leadership role and for the post basic education in specialists for advanced nursing practice. The faculty of Pratiksha school of Nursing recognizes that institutional & personal development is a shared responsibility of faculty, students and staff for building an environment that reflects democratic values, foster intellectual inquiry and creativity through out life, and encourages leadership within the school, community and professional environment.
