We envision a society where religion, culture, and race are not barriers to equity and equality, where all people are treated with dignity and respect and the voice of every citizen plays an integral role in creating inclusive communities that encourages participation by all.
We aim to build a cadre of leaders who have engaged with the marginalized population at the grassroots. They understand the bottlenecks to their well-being, their belief systems, and aspirations. We want the fellows to work alongside the structural units to understand the impact of system and power structures on people. We hope to bring forward future leaders who exhibit commitment, compassion, and a will to bring a change. We want marginalized youths to get exposed to social movements, people's participation in the political process, voluntary services organization, and social building activities.
In order to address the problems mentioned above, we have established Urooj Fellowship which is an exposure program for Marginalized Youth to increase their worldview and make them understand themselves who are facing various challenges and conflicts from the inside and outer world.
