infralink

Infralink is the amalgamation of Tegael and Killarney Telecommunications Limited (KTL), two experts in site acquisition, design, build and maintenance of telecommunications and power infrastructure. The two companies have partnered on a number of international projects on a joint venture basis, and have now cemented that collaboration with the formation of infralink in South Africa. Based in Portugal, Tegael started in 1983 with installation of low and medium voltage electrical networks, as well as fixed telecommunications networks, and then extended its operations to include the design and installation of GSM mobile telecommunication infrastructure. In 2003, Tegael established itself in the Republic of Ireland by opening an Irish branch and, in May 2004, created a new Company, Gaeltec Utilities Ltd. KTL has been in operation since 1998 in Ireland, providing services to all major blue chip companies in the power and telecommunications industries. In 2008, KTL formed a joint venture with Gaeltec Utilities.
