photoScore

photoScore is a free mobile app for iPhone and Android that brings the heat of the live match to your social network. With photoScore users can follow their teams and add the live score to their photos which can be shared via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, SMS and email. Our users can choose from a wide range of sleek score styles and edit the names of the teams to add their touch and tease their friends. Loved by thousands of Football fans, photoScore also covers American Football (NFL), Basketball (NBA) and Hockey (NHL), with Baseball (MLB) being added soon. We have also started a pilot partnership with a sports marketing agency called Ocean Sports (Rio de Janeiro) which manages the social networking profiles of some popular Brazilian football players (i.e. Leonardo Moura, Hernane) as well as FlaBoutique (Flamengo's official store), VascoBoutique (Vasco's official store), Botafogo's official store and Hawaii Sports. The pilot is serving to trial the usage of the app by sports clubs and athletes as a way to engage with their fans, and expand their portfolio of channels where their sponsors' brands can be exposed (generating revenue). With no backing from investors, photoScore is currently featured as #5 Sports app on the App Store in Brazil and has been downloaded by more than 6,500 users in 3 months.
