As of May 2012 CFJC is broadcasting in High Definition. CFJC has long been recognized for the strength of its information programming. Several times CFJC News was voted the Best Newscast in Canada for its market size by the Radio-Television News Directors Association, the station has also won many awards from such prestigious groups as the BC Association of Broadcasters, Canadian Association of Broadcasters, and Crimestoppers International, among others.
