The Redhill Academy Trust prides itself on providing an outstanding education for nursery, infant, junior, secondary and post-16 students from the areas of Arnold, Sherwood, Mapperley, Carlton, Eastwood, Radcliffe-on-Trent, Calverton, Bolsover, Tupton and Chesterfield. Our highly regarded academies operate under the experienced leadership of nationally recognised Executive Principal, Andrew Burns OBE. They promote an ethos of high expectations and the importance of academic success for all our students. We are a locally based charitable Trust made up of local parents whose own children have or currently attend our successful academies. We will not accept anything but the best for our children and believe that all local children deserve an equally outstanding education. The Redhill Academy Trust and Carlton Junior Academy have been appointed to lead a new Teaching School Hub - one of the 87 national centres of excellence for teacher training and professional development in education - due to launch in September 2021. Redhill Teaching School Alliance provides high quality CPD programmes for teaching and non-teaching staff. Teacher training includes the School Direct route for primary trainees in partnership with Nottingham Trent University and a SCITT route with Inspiring Leaders for our secondary trainees. Well-established leadership programmes provide excellent supplementary leadership training in addition to the National Professional Qualifications.
