Sherman UMC is located on a convenient corner at Ridge Ave. and Noyes St. in Evanston, IL within easy walking distance of Northwestern University and Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. A one block walk takes you to either the Purple Line station to the East or the Lorraine H. Morton Civic Center just to the South on Ridge. As a United Methodist Church Sherman UMC is part of the Chicago Northwest District under the superintendency of Rev. Dr. Zaki L. Zaki and the Northern Illinois Conference under the leadership of Bishop Sally Dyck.
