Potchefstroom Academy is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) as a private higher education institute and all qualifications are registered on the National Qualification Framework (NQF) at the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Potchefstroom Academy offers qualifications in Health and Skincare, Somatology, Therapeutic Massage, Therapeutic Reflexology, Therapeutic Aromatherapy, Interior Design and Decorating and Photography. Potchefstroom Academy constantly seeks ways for students to gain the work experience they require in order to be successful. This is achieved by incorporating work integrated learning, as part of its curriculum through the Academy's training facilities: • Somatology Training facility • Photography Training facility • Therapeutic Health Therapies Training facility Social, sustainable development and responsibility in the North West Province in teaching and learning is an integral part of the strategic planning of Potchefstroom Academy. In the 35 years the Institution has shown growth and development through the establishment of new and renovated buildings.
