CanWel Building Materials is a division of Doman Building Materials Group Ltd. CanWel distributes a wide range of building materials, lumber, and renovation products, and is Canada's only fully vertically integrated national distributor in the building materials and related products sector. Through the CanWel Fibre division, CanWel operates a forest products company based in Canada that services British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and the U.S. Pacific Northwest. CanWel Fibre owns approximately 117,000 acres of private timberlands, strategic Crown licenses and tenures, post and pole peeling facilities and pressure-treated specialty wood production plants. About Doman Building Materials Group Founded in 1989, Doman is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia and is Canada's only fully integrated national distributor in the building materials and related products sector. Doman trades on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) under the symbol DBM. Doman operates multiple treating plants and planing facilities in Canada and the United States. Hixson also stocks a full line of deck accessories, including spindles, balusters, handrails, step stringers and porch posts.
