Hospital Sant Joan de Déu (Barcelona) is a teaching hospital specializing in the fields of pediatrics, gynecology and obstetrics. It is located in Barcelona, Catalonia (Spain). It is a privately owned center, concerted by the Catalan Public Health Service, which belongs to the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God, religious organization that manages more than 300 health centers over the world. In 2018, the center has 318 beds and 13 operating rooms. It employs more than 1.900 professionals and attends 3.381 births, 117.993 emergencies, records 18.071 hospitalizations, 7.649 major ambulatory surgery, and 8.229 surgeries are performed.
