Formed in 2002, The National Metals Technology Centre (NAMTEC) improves the competitiveness and sustainability of the metals and related engineering industries throughout the UK. We provide an innovative technical support programme to industry and deliver direct economic benefit to the UK's manufacturing base. Our activities predominantly address three key sectors: • Oil & Gas • Aerospace & Defence • Power Generation, including wind, marine renewable, nuclear, fossil fuel and carbon capture & storage We're justifiably proud of the team at NAMTEC which comprises many highly-qualified, talented and innovative technical professionals each with their own area of expertise.
