Who we serve and why we serve: ​ Esteamed Coffee is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, award-winning, coffee shop located in the heart of downtown Cary, NC. Esteamed Coffee employs a dozen individuals with disabilities who might otherwise struggle to find meaningful employment. We strive to connect people in a purposeful, intentional community that enriches the lives of our employees and patrons through their fellowship in a warm, welcoming environment. While serving delicious coffee, blended coffee/smoothies, and regular and gluten free baked goods, we also aspire to esteem individuals with disabilities through employment and a respected place in our community. Esteamed Coffee showcases and sells the artwork of local individuals with disabilities on a quarterly basis, has a volunteer program pairing adults with and without disabilities to carry out front of house tasks, and has 1-2 Special Events monthly to provide fun social activities for adults with disabilities. Esteamed Coffee also endeavors to support their families, the organizations that champion their disabilities, our customers, and our local economy.
