Commonwealth-Parkville School

CPS, founded in 1952, and incorporated in Puerto Rico, is a private, college preparatory day school. It is a non-sectarian, non-profit, co-educational institution governed by a Board of Directors. CPS provides an integrated and ambitious PPK-12 curriculum in English with a strong program in Spanish. It is located on two campuses: Parkville Campus in Guaynabo (grades PPK-6), and Commonwealth Campus in Hato Rey (grades 7-12). The membership of the corporation consists of parents and guardians of children attending Commonwealth-Parkville School. At CPS we work together to infuse the skills that will help our students thrive in today's world, in a caring and competitive learning community. Our students, alumni, faculty and staff, possess incredible talents and share a genuine concern for others. We take pride of our inclusive and friendly culture, where all students are celebrated. CPS also fosters close student-teacher relationships and partnership with CPS parents, which are essential elements in a child's success. There is more to learning than academics and CPS promotes values that enhance personal development such as: integrity, compassion, self-esteem, and civic duty into curriculum and activities.
