GEM Windows & Doors

GEM WINDOWS AND DOORS GROUP OF COMPANIES is a local window and door manufacturing, retail and wholesale business. Established in late 2011, GEM Windows & Doors founders were driven by the idea of starting a window and door company that would specifically benefit the small to medium retail customer, by providing them with the same pricing opportunities. In early 2012, the first showroom, located in Alexandria, was opened. The business at that stage was a purely retail business, acting as a supplier and distributor for a small number of Australian based aluminium, timber, UPVC and louvre manufacturers, offering its customers a one stop approach for all their window and door needs. The next showroom opening followed in late 2013 in Castle Hill, with a much larger space. The expansion strategy has proven to be a success with Castle Hill showroom quickly establishing itself within the local market. In early 2015 GEM opened a warehouse to offer customers the ability to buy windows and doors off-the-shelf. Years of research and trial and error have resulted in a tailored list of size and colour combinations that comprise the sizeable yet efficient inventory. To continue the growth trajectory, a new showroom in Minto was opened in late 2017 adjacent to a warehouse which in late 2018 became the first manufacturing facility for GEM. The GEM factory, has gone from zero to almost fully capacity within a very short period of time and now manufactures most of its product. Same year, in 2017, GEM opened another showroom in Mulgrave NSW, further expanding it's area of reach on the Greater Sydney market. Operating for close to ten years, GEM has been able to successfully root itself in the fenestration industry within the retail part of the Australian window and door market.
