As a certified Functional Health Coach, I help my clients create a plan to prioritize their number one asset - their health. My clients are ready to take charge of their health, figure out ways to feel better, find energy, and live in balance to promote longevity. A pearl of wisdom that I share with my clients is that health is not the responsibility of our doctors. Each of us has to own our health. And so much of our health is in our control. It's a fallacy that as we age we just will start feeling bad. Aging doesn't mean declining. Aging doesn't mean that we have to stop doing the things we love. Aging doesn't mean that the extra 20 or 30 pounds is just a normal part of life. BUT, if we're not intentional in how we behave, things can catch up with us before we know it. We don't want to get to that one day where we wake up and suddenly something is staring us in the face. We are healthy … until we're not. If we don't prioritize our health, we've let go of our control.
