IFMIF-DONES España is a public owned Spanish Consortium which goal is to contribute to the European Fusion Program, among others, through its participation in the design, construction, operation and exploitation of the IFMIF-DONES scientific facility. IFMIF-DONES (International Fusion Materials Irradiation Facility - Demo Oriented NEutron Source) is a neutron source based on a high-current particle accelerator, which main objective is the development and qualification of materials capable of withstanding extreme conditions at which the components of the first wall of future fusion reactors will be exposed to.
