During 2020 and 2021, Tillberg Design of Sweden performed extensive research and numerous executive interviews in the cruise and yacht industry. In summary, the research clearly verified the critical and imminent need to focus equally on sustainability and profitability when developing new vessels. True progress will require unified and optimized development processes. It needs to include financing and business models, through design, construction, delivery – and eventually upcycling, once the ship or yacht ends its service life. The Viken Group has been established to gather other leading and passionate companies, with similar ideas and business ethics, under one umbrella. This enables us to provide a full range of completely aligned and comprehensive design, naval architecture and project management services. All these proficiencies will be available to both our cruise line and yacht clients, as well as to our customers within hotel, resorts and private island developments. The "Better Together" vision is materialized by complementing our first brand TDoS, with a number of new acquisitions and preferred partnerships.
