Woord en Daad, as a Dutch Christian foundation, connects people worldwide in their fight against poverty. Together with partner organisations in Africa, Asia and Central and South America and relevant actors and sectors, Woord en Daad seeks to contribute towards a sustainable transformation both in the North and the South. Through its modest work and mission, Woord en Daad has the ambition to erect visible signs of God's coming Kingdom. In these signs Woord en Daad has the ambition to overcome poverty and suffering and create a view of a world without suffering and poverty. From this Biblical perspective, people may come to their destination, can live a decent life and can take and bear responsibility for themselves their fellow men and may overcome poverty through this change and transformation.
