By focusing on innovative technology, world class safety practices and personnel competence, OESL offers its clients high quality support for its operations that translates to increased efficiency and lower operating costs for its clients. Since its inception, OESL has invested over US$450 million in the acquisition refurbishment and upgrade of swamp rigs. In 2007 OES commenced its drilling rigs business by acquiring two swamp rigs namely; OES Teamwork and OES Respect. The company thereafter acquired 3 additional swamp rigs and drilling equipment to be utilized in the Niger Delta swamps. These rigs, which are wholly owned by OESL, have been converted to home use (import duty paid) and are available for deployment for work The company is the largest indigenous drilling contractor in country. OES has consistently provided a safe place of work with efficient HSE processes, procedures and practices. These processes and framework have contributed to OES recording zero LTI on all its rigs since commencement of operations. We are ISO 9001:2008 certified, recently qualified for the ISO 14001:2004 certification and are in the process of upgrading our Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2015
