Ongo Vettech developed and distributes a portable Computer Aided Sperm Analysis [CASA] solution branded as Ongo Sperm Analyser [OSA] available in bull, pig, poultry, horse and pig markets. OSA helps breeders and veterinary reproduction specialists to increase productivity of breeding programs by semen quality assurance at field. Ongo Sperm Analyser (In Vitro Diagnostics device) - Ongo Slides (disposable material) - Ongo Cloud is a portable CASA system providing cost‐effective solution in cases where laboratory requirements of a desktop CASA system is not viable. Such portable semen analysis systems bring quality assurance in animal breeding and live‐stock production. Semen handling is an important factor influencing breeding result. It has been demonstrated that sperm motility evaluations are important for the assessment of semen quality, mainly when Computer Assisted Semen Analysis (CASA) is used for assessing semen motility patterns.
