Exchange 4 Change Brasil

Exchange 4 Change Brasil (E4CB) is a specialized consultancy that aims to accelerate the transition to the circular economy in Brazil. By working in collaboration with international partners, E4CB is able to leap frog solutions to the Brazilian market by co-creating and adapting global solutions to the local reality. E4CB was born in May 2105 with the view that an independent body was needed to influence the transition with the flexibility to move among all parts of the value chain, the capability to liaise with both private and public bodies and the knowledge to create the awareness among the society in general. For the last few years, E4CB has worked together with key international experts to bring circular economy principles to the Brazilian industry, educate the market and influence the transition. E4CB has been working in partnership with the Dutch consulate in Rio de Janeiro since the end of 2015. In 2016, it was commissioned to deliver a circular economy Brazilian local strategy, was invited to participate in the launch of The Netherlands as a Circular Hot Spot Initiative in Amsterdam and as a result has delivered, in partnership with dutch experts and FIRJAN – the industry federation of Rio de Janeiro - a number of tailored made focus group discussions which has lead to the publication of the 1st circular economy book in Portuguese. With the British collaborator Forum for the Future, has gathered brazilian designers to the discussion through circular design workshops applying the Circular Design Manifesto.
