Additionally, instead of using cells from the already sick cancer patient, Adicet uses cells from unrelated donors (allogeneic) because they are reliable and readily available allowing us to rapidly and cost-effectively scale production of these medicines and make them available when needed ("off-the-shelf"). Specifically, as a clinical stage biotechnology company we are advancing a pipeline of "off-the-shelf" gamma delta T cells, engineered with chimeric antigen receptors (CAR) and T cell receptor-like antibodies (TCRL) to enhance selective tumor targeting, facilitate innate and adaptive anti-tumor immune response, and improve persistence for durable activity in patients.
