American English Academy

American English Academy (AEA) is an international school established in 1992 in Sofia, Bulgaria by Frank and Ruth Munsey. It started with 15 American students, but each year there has been remarkable growth. In the past year AEA served students from 31 countries and had a total enrollment of 175 students. AEA attends to the needs of parents from Diplomatic and Military missions from the United States and the international community in Bulgaria. The school offers classes from Preschool through 12th grade. The classes are small in size, which enables the teachers to reach the individual needs of every student. Our students graduate with a USA diploma, which enables them to enter universities with a great range of majors in the USA, Europe, and other countries in the world.
