From informal talks and tours to the development of industry-specific performance standards, the Department of Forest Biomaterials offers a range of technical services to help academic and industry partners overcome their wood products challenges. The Hodges Wood Products Lab offers testing services including ASTM testing of solid and engineered wood products, NEMA LD3 testing of high pressure laminates, NALFA LF-01 testing of laminate flooring, ANSI A208 testing of particleboard and MDF, ISO 4586 testing of high pressure laminates and TFL, kiln drying, evaluation of environmental effects on wood products, and even more!
