Homeland Renewable Energy (HRE) is the holding company of Fibrowatt LLC and Homeland Biogas Energy LLC, as well as other subsidiaries. Our mission is to serve the food industry, by being the world's leading provider of environmental remediation services to animal agriculture, producing renewable energy and nutrient rich fertilizers from animal waste and other biomass. Fibrowatt LLC is a developer, builder, and operator of poultry litter-fueled power plants, and is based in Pennsylvania. In 2007, HRE began commercial operation of Fibrominn, a 55-megawatt poultry litter-fueled power plant in Benson, Minnesota. Homeland Biogas Energy LLC (HB Energy) is the newest addition to the Homeland Renewable Energy family of companies. HB Energy is focused on turning animal agriculture waste and other organic waste streams to useable energy for America. Our specially designed thermophilic anaerobic digestion technology produces significantly more biogas than other systems.
