WORLDEF

WORLDEF, which was founded by Ömer Nart in 2016, is an international e-export platform. WORLDEF, which is the first and only international education, event, and consultancy organization in Turkey, has focused on improving Turkey's manufacturing power and capacity by e-export with the support of Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM) and the Ministry of Trade. It has the vision of making Turkey a regional e-commerce center. It aims to make e-export more accessible to SMEs and retail brands. In 2019, Turkiye Is Bankasi (Isbank) has become the main business partner, and Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT) has become the main media sponsor of WORLDEF. Besides, international companies such as MasterCard, Google, DHL, and UPS have supported WORLDEF. In this framework, the first e-export conference in Turkey and the region was held in August 2017 under the leadership WORLDEF. Also, in April 2018, December 2018, and May 2019, WORLD E-COMMERCE FORUMs were held with the participation of thousands of sector employees from the cross-border e-commerce ecosystem; these forums have made a serious impact at the national and international level. The platform also held the launching of ECOM LEADERS CLUB, which is the first and only e-commerce leaders club in Turkey, in March 2020. WORLDEF BUSINESS SCHOOL WORLDEF BUSINESS SCHOOL (WBS) is the first and only e-commerce and e-export school approved by the Ministry of National Education in Turkey. Besides exporters' associations, chambers of industry and commerce, and development agencies in Turkey, WBS mainly makes training partnerships with the Turkish Exporters' Assembly and the Ministry of Commerce. With its e-export specialists, WBS offers online and classroom training programs on e-commerce and e-export at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels. As of 2020, WBS provided e-export training to over 5 thousand participants.
