During 2019, the Leviathan gas platform in the Mediterranean sea is going to be built just 10 km of Dor Beach, even though the gas field is 120 km into the sea! A floating gas platform is safer, more reliable, cheaper and pollutes into the environment at insignificant levels. IHG (Israeli Homeland Guards) is a national volunteer-based organization focused on health, environmental protection, and specifically on guaranteeing the fair and correct conduct of governments, corporations and companies towards the citizens and residents of Israel. It is a non-profit organization funded entirely by donations from individuals and groups without any political agenda, who choose to support the organization because they agree with its goals.
