With quick access to BART and ACE, it's easy to spend your weekend exploring the Bay Area. ♦ Our New Community Health Center We've opened a beautiful new health center, at 5925 W. Las Positas Blvd. in Pleasanton. With 28 exam rooms and 8 mental health counseling rooms, our new clinic will double our capacity and enable us to serve everyone who needs care. ♦ Our History Axis began in 1972 as a health center for low-income children, and over the years has grown to provide medical care for all ages. We also offer mental health counseling services, outpatient addiction recovery programs, a WIC nutrition program and school and community-based services. We have six sites, and serve more than 14,000 people.
